Dr. Peterson is the director and plastic surgeon for the Topeka Cleft Lip and Palate Team. He completed a fellowship in craniofacial surgery, and is board certified in both plastic surgery and Ear Nose and Throat surgery.
The Topeka Cleft Lip and Palate Team is a group of experienced medical and dental personnel who insure that care is provided to a cleft lip and palate patient in a coordinated and consistent manner from birth to adulthood. The Topeka team, established in 1998, currently has over 50 children that they follow.
The patient is a newborn male with a unilateral right cleft lip and palate. He is seen 9 months post lip repair and 2 months post palate repair.
