 Dr. Peterson is the President and CEO of The Center for Plastic Surgery, P.A. He also serves as the Director for the Topeka Cleft Lip and Palate Team. He is fully trained in all aspects of modern plastic and reconstructive surgery.
A Kansas native, Dr. Peterson is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of Kansas State University with a Bachelor of Science. He attended medical school at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. He completed his prerequisite training in general surgery at Baylor College of Medicine and completed a residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Otorhinolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. After several years of private practice in Otolaryngology, Dr. Peterson completed a residency in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City. Subsequently, he culminated his Plastic Surgery training with a fellowship in Craniofacial Surgery at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee.
Dr. Peterson holds a license to practice medicine in Kansas, Wisconsin and Missouri. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology.
